You’ll explore Valle de Guadalupe, internationally recognized for its award-winning wines; Valle de Ojos Negros, known for its higher elevation and outstanding wine production (and home to a world-renowned cheese cave); and Valle de Santo Tomás, the birthplace of vine cultivation in the region, dating back to the missionary era.

Continue to Valle de Ojos Negros to explore the Wine & Cheese Route.

Visit the largest cheese cave in Latin America, Cava de Marcelo, where you’ll enjoy a sensory and tasting experience.

The tour also includes a visit to a beautiful lavender field, where you’ll participate in an essence extraction activity.

Optional: enjoy a natural, organic lunch at the Cava de Marcelo ranch (not included), or choose a restaurant in Ensenada.

Later, visit Hussong’s Cantina, followed by transfer to your hotel.

Visit the oldest winery in the region, dating back to the missionary era, and taste exquisite wines in a stunning natural environment.

Explore the valley aboard a tractor-pulled wagon (minimum 4 people required; otherwise, the tour is done on foot). Includes a sensory wine experience.

Return to Ensenada with a stop at La Bufadora.

Suggested urban lunch (not included) with seafood and fish tacos.

End the day with a stop at a viewpoint overlooking Ensenada Bay.

At the scheduled time, depart toward the Wine Route in Valle de Guadalupe to visit three wineries. Each winery offers a complete experience, including a basic tasting and an explanation of their winemaking process.

You’ll visit some of the most representative estates of Mexican wine. Final winery selection is subject to confirmation; possible visits include Barón Balché, JC Bravo, L.A. Cetto, Casta de Vino, Casa Magoni, among others. Please note that some may require an additional fee.

It is important to mention that all visits are subject to availability and may change due to operational adjustments or health protocols. In many cases, the visit may include tasting only, without a full tour of the facilities.

A countryside lunch is suggested at Finca Altozano (not included).
To end the day, return and transfer to your hotel.

At the scheduled time, continue toward Valle de Ojos Negros for the Wine & Cheese Route. We will visit Cava de Marcelo, the largest cheese cave in Latin America, where you’ll enjoy a unique sensory and tasting experience.

The tour also includes a visit to a lavender field, where you’ll take part in an essence-extraction activity. Afterwards, we’ll continue exploring the beautiful surroundings of this valley.

Optionally, you may enjoy a natural, organic lunch in the open-air setting of the Cava de Marcelo ranch (not included), or choose another restaurant in Ensenada.

Later on, we’ll visit Hussong’s Cantina, and then proceed with the transfer back to your hotel. We highly recommend taking advantage of your stay to enjoy Ensenada’s internationally renowned gastronomy.

At the scheduled time, we’ll continue to the first wine valley of our state to explore the Historic Wine Route. We will visit the oldest winery in Baja California, dating back to the missionary era, and enjoy exquisite wine tastings surrounded by an extraordinary landscape.

We’ll experience the essence of Baja California wines aboard a tractor-pulled wagon (a minimum of 4 people is required; otherwise, the tour will be carried out on foot). You’ll also enjoy a unique sensory tasting experience.

Afterward, we’ll return to Ensenada with a mandatory stop at the natural attraction La Bufadora. We will then head into the city for a suggested urban lunch (not included), with options such as seafood and fish tacos.

The tour will conclude with a stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the entire bay, and then, at the scheduled time, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel.

At the scheduled time, depart for the Wine Route in Valle de Guadalupe to visit three wineries. Each offers a complete experience with a basic tasting and explanations of their winemaking processes.

May to September, when vineyards are in full bloom—though the region is enjoyable year-round.
