Recommendations

We recommend bringing your camera, a light jacket or sweater, comfortable clothing and shoes, bottled water, a hat, sunglasses, and biodegradable sunscreen.
Bring extra cash for meals and souvenirs, as some places do not accept credit cards.
During the rainy season (winter, November to March), consider bringing an umbrella.

  • A passport with at least six months of validity and a valid U.S. visa are required.

  • U.S. law requires crossing the border on foot, so you will be asked to exit the vehicle.

  • Border crossing time depends on traffic.
