Conditions & Recommendations

Located in the northern part of Baja California, the Wine Route enjoys a Mediterranean climate ideal for grape growing. Here are our recommendations:

Best time to visit

May to September, when the vines are in full splendor—although the region is enjoyable year-round.

Weather

  • Very hot summers and cold winters
  • Cool mornings and evenings due to ocean humidity
  • Hot afternoons as mountains retain heat in the valleys

What to wear

  • Comfortable, closed-toe shoes (agricultural terrain with dirt and stones)

  • Light clothing in white or soft colors (cotton or linen)
  • Sweater, jacket, or pashmina for cool nights

Who should attend

This wine-focused program is recommended for adults only.

Important Notes

  • The order of activities may vary depending on winery availability and to ensure the best overall experience

  • Wineries may be substituted due to private events, maintenance, or lack of availability
