Baja California is home to Mexico’s main Wine Route, where most of the country’s wine production and many of its top wineries are located.
One of its most remarkable valleys is Ojos Negros, nestled beside the Sierra de Juárez. Thanks to annual rains and snowfall, its aquifers are constantly replenished, allowing the land to be irrigated and cultivated with a wide variety of crops such as onions, tomatoes, chiles, grapes, watermelon, and melon.
This water supply also supports pastureland for cattle, making the region a major producer of dairy products—milk, butter, ricotta, and a wide selection of artisanal cheeses.
On this tour, you’ll explore the renowned Wine & Cheese Route of Baja California, internationally recognized for the exceptional quality of its wines and cheeses.
